Check If There's An Appropriate USB Device Shown Up in Computer

There should be a FT245R USB FIFO device shown up in computer if the USB connection and the USB driver are both working correctly.

On Windows 10, open system Settings dialog, click on Devices item, you could find a FT245R USB FIFO device in Bluetooth & other devices section, shown as below.

If there’s no FT245R USB FIFO and no new device at all after connecting, there should be something wrong with the USB connection.

Connect Different USB Ports on Computer

Try to connect different USB ports on computer to see if the machine can be connected successully.

Connect with A New USB Cable

Try to connect the laser machine with a new USB cable.

Connect to the Control Card Directly

There’s a short extension cable inside the machine cabin, and the connection will be failed if that cable is broken. Please have a try on connecting USB cable directly to the control card instead of via the extension cable, shown as below.

Connect by Network cable (Ethernet)

If all attempts above are failed, there should be something wrong with the USB port of the control card itself, and the machine can not be connected via USB anymore, unless replacing the control card with a new one.

In this case, we recommend connecting the machine by network cable with no more cost and no delay, instead of getting a new control card.
