The X-1309, or similar model which has a closed cabin, will shutdown laser and stop cutting or engraving if you open the front door or the cover of the laser tube housing box, to keep you from hurting by laser or moving mechanical parts.

But sometimes, like when aligning laser path, it’s too boring to open and close the door again and again just for doing a little job. In this kind of case, you can temporarily disable the door opening protection of the laser machine.

Open vendor settings dialog in EagleWorks, disable Enable protect option in Other settings pane, shown as below. Don’t forget to read settings from the machine first, and write them back after change, refer to Programming EAGLECAM or RDCAM Control Card for more information.
